n8n Automation
Build real automations with n8n — triggers, nodes, APIs, error handling and AI agent workflows, plus the self-hosted deployment that makes it a portfolio project.
n8n sits in a useful spot for a fresher portfolio: it’s visual enough to build something working in an afternoon, but it’s really just APIs, JSON and control flow wearing a friendlier interface. Learn it properly and you’ve learned how systems talk to each other — which is the part an interviewer actually probes.
The track goes past drag-and-drop. You’ll handle authentication without pasting secrets into nodes, deal with the failure cases that only appear once a workflow runs unattended, and finish by self-hosting with Docker so the project is yours rather than a trial account.
The AI chapters connect to the Generative AI track, which covers what those model nodes are doing underneath. Docker and deployment are treated in more depth in the DevOps Course.
